Something as simple as hanging out at the bar after work. It was fun, my throat hurts from so much shouting and laughung.
I have missed nights like this. Since I moved here, I haven't really developed a group of girlfriends I hang out with. I have friends I see with Brian, I have friends I see at work. Sometimes us workfriends get together but not that much. This is starting to change.
We have had a few after work bar nights. They are always good fun. I think we will be having more.
I used to have a huge group of friends in England, and I miss that and them.
I work with a really good bunch of people (well most of them) and some of them have husbands/boyfriends who would get along with brian. We have all decided that as the Spring gets here we will all start doing things.
I think I may be getting a social life back....at long last.

ReplyDeleteGlad your getting friends and going out again, whereas with young kids here we mostly have to go out separate to see our friends as we don't want to impose on people!
